Ole Wackström memorial race - Race instructions
Ole Wackström was a champion cyclist representing the local club Porvoo Akilles. He took part in four Olympic Games as a rider and coach. After his own racing career he coached cyclists like Harry Hannus, his sons Patrick and Sixten Wackström, Marek Salermo and Kjell Carlström. In the memorial race, we want to honor the memory of Ole Wackström, a great cyclist, who always shared his time and skills with the younger cyclists.
The Ole Wackström Memorial Race/ride competition follows UCI's and SP's road cycling rules as well as the three-day rules for junior riders. Each competitor participates in the competition at his/her own risk and is responsible for his/her own insurance. The event organizer has liability insurance.
